The Climbing Tree offers a one of a kind, state of the art facility. Each classroom is equipped with internet cameras for parents and family to log onto the internet. Through streaming video feed, you will be able to monitor your child’s progress and day while you may be miles away.

Weekly Chapel

Weekly, the children participate in children’s chapel services led by our director and Derek McNatt, Minster of Music at Christ Church United Methodist. Most chapel services are held in the chapel and are an interactive and energy filled time to teach the children about God and His love for each of us.

Music and Movement

Children participate in daily, on-site music and movement classes twice each week which are held in our gym. Led by the team from Boni’s Dance, the children develop skills such as balance, coordination, rhythm, sportsmanship, listening, and general gross motor development. Music and movement classes are included in the monthly tuition rate.

Yoga

Led by Moonlight Yoga, our children participate in a weekly afternoon yoga class. This class teaches the children proper and effective breathing techniques, balance, stretching and strengthening in a manner that is fun and engaging for the children. Services for this class are included in the monthly tuition rate.

Lunch / Snacks

The Climbing Tree offers snacks and a hot lunch daily. All menus are completed a month at a glance by the nutrition coordinator. Food substitutions are made for children with food allergies. (provide a link to view the current month menu – a downloadable form).

Playgrounds

The Climbing Tree boasts access to 5 playground areas, a planting garden, a nature trail and a courtyard! All of our playgrounds are equipped with newly designed playscapes by Playworld Systems and each play area has unique and independent place structures which are not duplicated on the other playgrounds. This keeps the play spaces fresh and engaging for the children.

The planting garden is a real science adventure. From learning about the life cycles of seeds to cultivating the garden and sampling some of the home grown fruits and vegetables, this space is a nature adventure land for the children to explore, learn and create!

Our nature trail was a welcome addition in 2007 thanks to an Eagle Scout project by a church member. This trail connects the ends of our campus and has been cleared and outlined with all natural materials. In the center of the trail, children will enjoy the Serenity Chapel, a serene environment to wonder and learn of our God.
